International students considering studying in the United States will find a friendly and welcoming community at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®).

Plan to study at one of Tri-C's four campus locations with an F-1 student visa? You must provide additional documents in order to meet international student admission requirements. F-1 applicants cannot apply online.

New, Transfer and Change of Status International Students

An international student is one who holds (or is seeking) an F-1 student visa. International students must follow the application process below based on their status.

• Overseas or New
  International student applying for F-1 visa from home country or who has recently arrived in the U.S.
• Transfer
  Current F-1 visa holder who recently studied at another U.S. institution and completed at least one semester and 12 credits
• Change of Status
  Currently in the United States on a visa other than an F-1 and wishes to change status to F-1 student

Program Information

First Year Experience (FYE) Success Seminar

New students must take the one-credit First Year Experience (FYE) Success Seminar. Transfer students with 12 or more credits and a 2.5 GPA are exempt.

The FYE Success Seminar helps students develop lifelong learning skills and connects them to College support services. Topics include time management, budgeting, study skills, career exploration and more. You will also develop your academic plan. Learn more on the FYE webpage.
